Malta (Love it or Hate it)

Happy Sunday my dudes. Hope your weekend’s been good so far. Maybe a bit wild. Maybe just calm. Either way, you’re here now—and that’s already a win.
I woke up today feeling like I forgot something important... maybe myself?
I forget who I am sometimes. Luckily I'm surrounded by good souls that constantly remind me. I'm so many different things to different people. I love it.
Ah, Malta. The rock. Our home. The place that makes you wanna cry tears of joy and scream into a pillow. Sometimes both in the same hour.
I love this country, man.
I love it so much, I hate it.
Because that’s what happens when you care too much—you feel everything too much. It’s a delicate balance. I try to keep it steady, just enough to stop myself from going full cartoon villain.
If you’ve ever lived here, you know what I’m talking about. And if you haven’t? You’ll still get it. It’s not easy living on this little island—but it can feel like a dream, too. A surreal, sun-drenched, horn-blaring, espresso-fueled dream.
Where else can you wake up on a random Saturday thinking, “Maybe I’ll get my ears pierced today,” and then just… go? No big plan. No big goal. Just vibes. That’s what happened to me. One thing led to another, and suddenly it was a full-blown adventure.
Malta has this strange ability to surprise you when you least expect it. It’s small, sure—but it packs chaos and charm into every square meter. One minute you’re sipping coffee in the sun. Next, you’re under a needle. Then a swim. Then a hike. Quick shower. Then you’re out again.
That’s poetry, man. That’s the good stuff.
But okay. I ramble too much when I talk about the things I love. And the things I hate.
So let’s ground ourselves.
Deep breath in.
Okay.
Make your own adventure. That’s what I said yesterday. That still stands. Doesn’t matter where you are, who you are—build it the way you want to build it.
Build it yourself though.
Build it for you.
Don't let anyone try to change you.
Don't let anyone take away that spirit of adventure.
We had it when we were kids and now we're becoming adults and we're losing that charm. We're still in time. Whether you're in your 20s, 30s, 40s. Hell even if you're in your 60s, god bless. Keep that spirit of adventure alive in you always.
Even when the noise gets too much. Even when it's difficult and you see no light at the end of the tunnel. Make your own light. Make your own fucking path to that light.
Live your fucking life your way my dudes.
Don't let this island burn you out. Resist the temptation of falling into that trap.
Malta is a great place for adventure. But it can also make it all feel overwhelming.
So take your time.
Relax.
It's Sunday after all.
Even God took a day off.
You fucking deserve it.
